Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?
Shopping at hottestshoeinthecity.com is safe. Every credit card purchase you make is verified and protected through PayPal and other card options are provided.
What is the status of my order?
Tracking information are sent directly to you when your order has been reviewed, packaged and shipped.
To view the status of your order, click on the My Account link found at the top of the page. (If you have created an account) You will be able to view your order history and get detailed information on the progress of your order.
Please allow 2-4 business days to process your order. Once your order is shipped you will receive an email with your tracking information. Should there be a delay in the processing of your order you will receive an email with an explanation and any steps needed on your behalf to complete the order.
Why am I not getting my order and shipping confirmation emails?
There are several reasons why you may not be getting these emails. One way to assure you receive these emails is to add info@hottestshoeinthecity.com to your address book. By doing this you are telling your Internet Service Provider our emails are not spam and they will not go in your junk folder or be bounced by your ISP.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept PayPal which will allow you to use all major credit cards; even if you do not have a PayPal account. We also have other payment methods added to our site that have given our customers more options to pay for their chosen items. HSITC has added Sezzle to our website for those who would like to pay in installments.
What do you charge for shipping an order?
Our shipping charge is based on the weight of your package. The shipping cost will be calculated before you complete your order.
Shipments to PO boxes or military addresses are shipped via USPS only and may require an additional fee.
Expedited shipping is available for items shipped from our warehouse. Orders must be placed before 2pm EST in order to be shipped out same day *Exclusions May Apply (If you place order at 3pm EST Monday with Next Day it will not arrive to you until Wednesday).
What shipping carrier do you use?
To pass on the shipping cost savings, we ship via USPS only.
I paid through PayPal, what shipping address will my order go to?
The shipping address comes from your PayPal account and can’t be changed when placing the order. Please log onto PayPal before placing the order and change the shipping address desired.
Why was my order cancelled?
Your order may have been canceled due to payment not received, item not in stock, or incorrect mailing address.
Do you take phone orders?
No. All orders are placed online through our website. However, you are welcome to call for information on an item. We will do our best to assist you.
Can I cancel my order?
Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, we are unable to cancel it. The order will be reviewed, packaged and shipped to the address provided.
Can I change my address on my order?
We do apologize,unfortunately we are unable to alter billing or shipping information once your order has been placed for security purposes.
How can I return an item?
We have a strict no return policy. Please ensure you are ordering your correct size, style, color, etc. Under NO circumstances do we allow returns.
Can I request an exchange?
Unfortunately, we DO NOT allow exchanges. Please ensure you order the correct size, color, style, etc.
I received a Defective/Damaged item, what do I do?
Please email us at hottestshoeinthecity@yahoo.com with your order number and photos of the Defect/Damage for review by our quality assurance department. All our orders are video recorded for quality assurance purposes. This means that the item you've purchased has been inspected, packaged under recording to prevent sending damaged items to our lovely customers.
Can you please mark my purchase as "gift" to avoid custom duties taxes?
Unfortunately, due to Customs regulations, we are unable to mark the merchandise as a "gift".
Do you ship to addresses outside the United States?
Yes, we do offer International Shipping. However, customers will have to pay the shipping fee calculated by the shipping carrier. You may call HSITC for additional information if needed.
Do you ship to PO boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?
United States Postal Service/APO Box. For APO Box addresses, we use USPS. Other couriers do not deliver to APO Box addresses. Please allow 5-10 business days to process your order and additional 4-7 business days for most in-stock items to arrive on your doorstep.
What are the requirements for using a discount code?
You can only use one coupon code per transaction/promotion.
HSITC request that promotional codes do not apply to all items. Please see each promotion for details. If an issue occurred where you did not receive your discount code, please call us at 804-418-9500 or send an email to hottestshoeinthecity@yahoo.com We love when our customers respectfully report issues.
Do you charge sales tax on any item(s)?
Sales tax will be added to orders being sent to Virginia.
Do you match your own prices if an item goes on sale after my purchase?
No, we do not price match if an item goes on sale or if it is found at another retailer for a lower price. We do not price match at all. There may be items marked as sold for a cheaper price because the customer purchased during a mark-down period.
Do you have any stores?
No. We are solely an online retail store at this time. A time will surely come when we will operate out of our own store front. This will be announced on our social media pages.
